So as I was leaving work today, I saw my good friend L. waving frantically at me from inside her car. I immediately stoped my car and went to ask her if everything was OK. She was panicking. She asked me if she could use my cell phone to call her husband because she parked her car but she couldn't take the key out of the ignition because it simply wouldn't budge. She said she's tried everything but the key refuses to move. She couldn't even turn the ignition off. She was so worried that she accidentally might have done something that was making the key behave this way.
So naturally, I said, "Yeah, for sure."
While she made the call, I decided to take a look.
Turns out, she had forgotten to switch the gear to "Park"!
Moral of the Story:
Women and machinery do not mix.
No, wait.
